PJM Overview

PJM

PJM is the Regional Transmission Organisation for the Eastern Interconnection grid operating an electric transmission system serving all or parts of 13 states: Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia

How to Register to Attend a PJM Transmission Expansion Advisory Committee (TEAC) Telecon

1) GoTo https://www.pjm.com/ Under Meetings locate the TEAC Meeting

2) When you click on Register you will be prompted to create an account if you do not already have one . Enter "Other" in the company name field . After entering the user request, you receive an email message with a link to setup your password. Be sure to select the "Account Access" tab to see that you have the "PJM Public" access. You will need that in order to be able to login to PJM.com and register for the meeting. If you do not see it, you can use the "Request Access" button at top right and select it from the list to move over.

 3 ) If you have a problem creating an account send an email to custsvc@pjm.com

Writing a Letter To PJM to Comment on / Oppose a transmission line

Write a letter to the PJM Board of Managers then either forward it electronically or mail it.

=> Tell the Board of Managers your reasons for opposing the project and tell PJM’s Board your own story - impacts to your property and/or home and community, your quality of life and enjoyment of the state and national parks that would be effected. What would it mean to you if your home is seized and razed to make way for this data center extension cord. 

=> Most Important Ask the Board of Managers to REJECT the project Tell PJM to find a solution that does not destroy private property, state or national parks  - cite the impacts you are concerned about.


=> Address Letters to: The PJM Board of Managers, Mark Takahashi, Chairman and

                                               Manu Asthana, PJM President and CEO PJM Interconnection L.L.C.
